Looks for Target

Looks for Target (4/11)

  1. Thats a good idea. I know how that might work. I spent 33 years in the machining business. Started in tool and die then to setting up CNC machines and programming them. Saving setup time really adds up. If I had my own machines or access I would have done the job myself. I still could but but Im opposed to using a file to do the job.
  2. I was thinking about it. Just went to YouTube and found that all the videos that give fitting demonstrations have been censored. Only audio no video. I will need to check websites directly.
  3. Thanks, I will check him out.
  4. I have a famous brand custom 2011 that needs a new barrel fitted. I asked the origional builder but they only build new guns and do not do any gun smithing, even on customers guns. I emailed several other builders and they don’t respond. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good gunsmith in the Phoenix, AZ area? I tried a gunsmith in the area to replace a thumb safety on the same pistol and that guy screwed it up and had to file it myself to get it to engage fully without 30 pounds of pressure. Im at a loss why I cant seem to find anyone with talent to do the job.
  5. Does anyone have experience with V Seven 16” .223 lightweight barrels? I am replacing a worn out barrel on my 3 Gun rifle and want to keep the weight down while maintaining 1 MOA accuracy. Durability and long term accuracy are also of concern.
  6. Thanks guys, I will take a look.
  7. Thanks for the info. My nephew just texted me that he has the Eclipse in his PCC and has had no issues in over two years. Looks like ill be getting one.
  8. I’m a PCC newbie who just purchased a CMMG Resolute 300 and looking into a drop in trigger. I’ve built several AR-15 rifles and have experience with quality piece part triggers that I fine tuned and installed but I thought I give a drop in a try. I understand a major concern is the beating the triggers take in a open bolt design and wonder if the CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback mitigates that problem. I am considering the Rise Armaments Blitz. What others should I consider?
  9. Thanks for the info. Hope he gets his medical issues fixed.
  10. Does anyone know the website for Canyon Creek in Streater Illinois? I’ve searched and can’t seem to find it .
  11. Thanks. Impact did it no problems. No loctite but very gritty. Even after it broke loose i could not turn it out by hand.
  12. I have a Super 1050 that I purchased used ( little over 1 year old). It was originally ordered set up for 9mm and never changed over to another caliber. Im switching to .40 S&W and need this to remove the tool head to switch the shell plate. I cannot remove the tool head mounting bolt. I've tried everything except a impact wrench which I'm hesitant to use. even tried a socket wrench with a 12” cheater pipe. Unless its a left hand thread or there is locktite on why it should be that tight. Anybody else have this problem?
  13. Hello Sida,

Is the 1050 still available? I won’t be in Phoenix for a couple of months but I have a freind that would be able to pick it up if we can make a deal. Thanks.
