Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. It appears there is no Hogdon 1000 to be found. I have 2 questions: 1) is there anywhere to find it? 2) if not, what is a recommended powder replacement? I load mostly .300 Weatherby and .338 Norma Thank you, David Adams
  2. Another affordable option is the SWFA HD 5 - 20 scope. I prefer Mil vs. MOA. Just completed a long range class in WY where I was shooting a 24 inch plate at 1 1/2 mile consistently. Here is the link: https://www.swfa.com/optics/riflescopes.html?brand=SWFA SS&brand_model=HD
  3. I have both N350 and some N320. A friend of mine bought a Bill Wilson .38 super limited carry gun that Bill recommended the N320. So I loaded some for him, however they were not for competition. That said, I didn't know if it was a good powder for my Open STI. Seems the general opinion is that it is not. N350 would be better and I have been shooting that powder in my loads for years with no problems.
  4. Totally forgot about the plunk test. Gotta love this site. Thanks!
  5. Minor competition. Thanks! I was looking at 124 JHP Montana Gold; N320 @ 4.1 gr. OAL 1.125?
  6. l Just tricked out my Glock 19. What powder/OAL/load data is best using MG JHP 124 gr.?
  7. Somehow, lost my load data. Loading for .38 Super, using MB JHP 124 gr. how much N320?
  8. Somehow, lost my load data. Loading for .38 Super, using MB JHP 124 gr. how much N350?
  9. Thanks everyone. MaddHatter, the Stealth Gear looks exceptionally nice. Never heard of them. Thanks for sharing.
  10. With Kydex now in the market, what is the best comfort, less printable, IWB conceal carry holster?
  11. My gunsmith is enlarging the release hole in the mag. The ones I bought for my Caspian, the retention hole is cut too high up the mag causing it to push the follower up too high into the slide. Not happy with MBX as that is a simple calculation. Easy fix with a Dremell tool though so not worth the hassle of sending them back to them and waiting.
  12. Finally put my order in for my new Caspian Mags!! Merry Christmas to me :-) Dogtired: In reading the web site, these mags are good to go for both Caspian AND Tanfo. you might call them just to make sure though.
  13. Sig is really making a big splash in the scope market. While in Africa this summer, almost all of the PH's had Sig scopes on their rifles.
  14. I just got on their web site and there is NO mention of the Caspian mags that I can find? Overlooking something?
  15. Is 19 round all that one can get these days? Where is the best place to start a search? Totally rebuilding my Caspian 9mm and want new mags, as mine are shot.
