I got mine from RHT too. It is for the TS2 Racing Green w/ Thumb Rest.
-
Understood. So, I guess I need to find a TS2 slide in 40 to do the conversion. Anybody know of a source?
-
TitoR started following Any news on TS2's racing green or bronze? , TS2 Racing Green - convert to 40S&W? , Canik mags and 1 other

I was checking what is available in CZC shop for the TS2, and there is a 40S&W barrel available for the TS series, including the TS2 - https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/barrels-complete-upper/cz-barrel-40-s-w-tactical-sports.html. Is converting my TS2 Racing Green from 9mm to 40S&W as simple as a barrel, recoil spring and and mag change? Or does the slide need to be changed too?

Could you take a photo of the g34 guide rod side by side with the original? Also and end photo to compare diameters?
-
Same as for the originals, Taylor Freelance.

Are all Glock 34 guide rods the same diameter? I tried a captured guide rod from a g34 and the fit is real loose. Gun functions, but don’t like how loose and un-centered the rod comes out the front of the slide.
-
Do you know what the factory rocoil spring rate is? Is it 17 lb?
-
I got tired of waiting, so I bought a Beretta M9 18 round magazine (Mec Gar tube is the same as the Canik) and cut the mag catch notch to match the Canik Mag.

@ngodwetrust21 My 129 PF reloads are not working reliably with the Rival's factory guide rod/wpring. So I'm looking for a replacement guide rod for the Rival. You mention using the Wolff guide rod and springs. Which Glock model has a compatible guide rod that works with the Rival? Is it the Glock 34 Gen 3? Did you have to make any modifications to the guide rod or use a washer spacer with it?

Is there any kydex type holster that would work with the thumb rest installed? if not, what holster will work with the CZ TS2 Racing Green with the thumb rest? Do I have to splurge on a race holster?
-
I finally joined the CZ club; bought the TS2 racing green. Since I am new to the platform, can someone guide as to what all the included parts are for? Four long springs - Are these recoil springs? Anyone knows what the weight of the springs? I guess this is to tune to the bullet PF. Two medium springs - Are these hammer springs? What are the spring weights? Would these result in a lighter trigger pull? Will it affect primer ignition? One single small spring - Is this the firing pin return spring? This one seems very light compared to the one installed? What is the purpose? Should this be installed with a reduced power hammer spring to ensure primer ignition? Steel pin - looks like a replacement for the mag release to delete slide stop. Correct? Shock buffers - ok Plan is to use this gun for USPSA limited (I know it is minor). Also, since I reload, any recommendations on COAL; good loads using Sport Pistol; and 147, 135, or 124 bullets. I have CCI and federal primers.

Does anybody know how many mags come with the TS2 Racing green?
-
Have you taken it out for a spin? Range report.

Kurtm, I fully agree with your take. At the end of the day it all a matter of how well you understand your kit and the investment of time and money to make it work. Even a Benelli will require some work, maintenance and understanding of how it works to keep it running. A mossberg, probably more and heavily depends on the initial quality. Maybe, I was lucky. Or it was all the deburring, polishing and upgrades I did. I’m looking for an upgrade and probably go inertia, just to learn about the other camp. But I still love my soft shooting gas jam pro that eats anything available. cheers
