  1. We do 3GN division rules, but we don't have all of their divisions: Factory - shoot irons if you want Practical Unlimited Heavy Optics - shoot irons if you want PCC - shoot irons if you want This covers everybody in only 5 divisions and unless you are shooting with irons you are at no disadvantage in your division. If you are shooting irons and don't like getting beat by a guy shooting a red dot, go buy a red dot.

  3. +1 for the matrix. Standard upper that works with a standard 9mm bolt. Also a +1 for JoeBob's.
  4. Yes, because with our ICORE club if there were no semis shooting and only revolvers were allowed there would be at most 6 shooters at the monthly match.
  5. Like others have said, for me it is a good stop for your hand on drawing and it gives your weak hand something to rest and hang on to.
  6. It's going to difficult to "replace" N320. You can however "settle for a suitable substitute." Clay's is a great choice. I load that in my 38 super. I used e3 as a substitute for N320 in my 9mm load and it was great. I am using Clay Dot in my 40 loads. Many use WST and have good results.
  7. I think the cleaning and lubrication should be separate steps. I clean with brake parts cleaner (cheaper option gunscrubber) then lubricate with motor oil on a toothbrush. I mixed up some Ed's Red and have been experimenting with it. If you do, I suggest leaving the acetone out. I think with that it is suitable to clean and lube in almost one step. I let the parts soak in it for a few hours, then brush them, then rinse them with it. The ATF is a good enough lube. I'm anal and clean every gun every range trip. Some people think that's too much work but mine don't jam from crud buildup like theirs do... I believe if you take care of your equipment it will take care of you.
  8. I suggest you try shooter's bullets. They use a coating that is much more durable than bayou's. It won't come off in your dies while loading nor will it build up in your barrel. I've been shooting them exclusively for almost a year now. Before that I shot plated and bayou but there is nothing they can offer that the black maxx bullet can't. Check them out here: http://shootersbullets.com/shop/9mm-flat-point-147-grain-coated-price-per-500/
  9. I will grab some dirt if I don't have my pro-grip. It's great stuff. The only downside to pro-grip is that it leaves your gun white.
  10. no but I am about to try some 158 grain coated shooter's bullets in 9mm so I will stick around and hope somebody comes along with a good starting point
  11. It would most definitely increase participation because you have guys that don't make and/or don't want to make major scoring that would shoot in your minor scoring division. To me, at least with a majority of stages that I see, 8 shots won't be THAT big of an advantage over 6 shots though. I voted the same, because I will still only shoot the 8 shooter in the ICORE and production in USPSA.
  12. Get a trial pack and try the different weights to see which will spring give you the best sight tracking
  13. I have also done each and every thing bassochist has said. Depriming live primers, even some going in backwards and having to deprime them. Never had one go off during deprime. I myself wouldn't be scared to do it, but wear your safety glasses,
  14. hearthco moonclips are the best. You can get them at moonclips.com or tkcustom.com If you need a holster, call Chris Stewart (Ready Tactical) and have him build you a custom DOH that you will love! Tell him Chris S Sent you Well Mikey is including a holster but if he didn't I would make my own, been doin that for a few people around here including myself
  15. How much E3? I picked up a pound the other day just to try it. 3.3 grains gets 135 pf. you da man
