Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I really like my Whiskey Arms aluminum carrier. http://whiskeyarms.com/products/lbc
  2. M&P Pro 9 for 3 gun, M&P Pro 40 for USPSA, M&P Shield or Ruger LCP for CCW.
  3. Are you thinking about the Texas Limited match? It's May 30th down in Rosenberg. https://clubs.practiscore.com/texas-limited/register
  4. Middle like fishsticks said. I started wearing it high, but had some issues with hitting it with the stock and it was harder for me to quad load with it up high. So now I wear it pretty much in the middle.
  5. The last 3 major 3 gun matches rained like hell, then the sun came out and turned humid, then rained again, then more sun. Typical Texas weather. If you don't like the weather at the beginning of the match, just wait and hour, it will certainly change. The only thing I hate about shooting in bad weather or rain is it makes me clean all my gear when I get home. I hate cleaning gear!!
  6. I second all the comments above. It was a fantastic match, very well ran and a ton of fun. Kurt and all the staff did an amazing job setting up one the best matches I've ever been to. Copperhead Creek is a great facility and Kurt and all the stage designers took advantage of the natural terrain to give the shooters some very cool stages. I was fortunate enough to take 3rd place in Tac Ops and get an awesome prize off the table. Huge thanks to all the match sponsors, congrats to all the winners, and I'll definitely be back next year!
  7. Not sure if this has been asked already but will slings be required for the rifle and/or shotgun?
  8. If you're a DIY'er or know someone that can weld, this might be an option. https://www.thetargetman.com/product/diy-texas-star/ Me and a buddy are about to buy one of these and their DIY plate rack and weld them up with some left over angle iron and tubing. Not a bad price if you dont mind "some assembly required."
  9. I've loaded and shot a little over 1000 of the Xtreme 147s in my Dillon 550, using Dillon dies, and every one of them have the same ring on the nose. Although it was a little concerning at first, I have had zero feeding issues and haven't seen any accuracy problems with them out of my M&P.
  10. I'm definitely making this month's match. Looking forward to it. See y'all there. Lukas
