Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. thanks for the tip on Hayes Custom! they know whats up with this gun
  2. I like the gun a lot but its a bit frustrating to get parts for it, first it was mags and now a trigger. I will keep hunting or modify one to fit, the SVI looks like a possibility i hate to spend $50 just to find out though
  3. I saw those and maybe I am just not up to speed but i don't see the little tabs that you bend to adjust the take up and i was trying to avoid welding and fitting the bow. Am i missing something? Thanks for the response Mike
  4. Has any one seen a good trigger that will fit this gun? The stock trigger is not bad but it has quite a bit of take up and no way to really adjust that. I was told that the STI for Para would fit but those have not been made in years as far as i can tell. Thanks for the help Mike
  5. I got my Pro match, took it apart, cleaned and lubed it. I have not shot it but I have been handling it to get a feel for it. I am a lefty and the mag release button it very hard to push for me. I have developed a way to curl my finger in and push it over the years. The button is very sharp and the spring is crazy stiff. will a para unit fit or does anyone have any suggestions? a larger button would help me. On a side note the fit and finish of this gun is way better than expected. I would expect this on a real custom gun, The real disappointment is the trigger, Way too much take up, feels like 6lbs but did not measure it but its too much, and the overtravel is not adjusted properly. It should be an easy fix though. Plan is to put a couple hundred rounds through it then do the trigger and have fun with it.
  6. JUst an FYI to anyone here, the factory mags just popped up as being available on the rock island site this morning after being out of stock forever so i grabbed 2, also thanks for the link to Greg Cote I got a few of the Mec gar with the spiffy Springer precision basepads which i think were a good value as well. So I have 6 mags to play with now to get a load figured out and have some fun
  7. any more up to date info on this? I need a holster for mine. thanks, Mike
  8. I got an alert from a online store that the 51738 promatch .40 was in stock after many months. I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I don't mind tinkering a little to get it right and at this time I don't care too much about +1 or +2. I just want a couple extra good reliable extra mags for the gun. I prefer to have the slide lock back after last shot. I have been reading and searching is the STI 140MM still the unit of choice? anything else i should look at since the factory units are not available? Mike
