If it is a 1.0 M&P, everything you need to know is in the post above ^ and the link he referred to. I posted in that thread explaining the issue. Easy test, and even easier because the gun is a CORE. Pull the optic plate, pull out the striker block, go shoot 100 rounds. If you get no light primer strikes, you know it's a timing issue. Reduce the gap in the trigger bar loop. I would guess that most people haven't strayed from the 3 pack of guide rods that came with the gun. I measured the length of the springs that came with the gun, bought a few different weight Wolff springs, and cut them down. In terms of functionality, the gun will function fine with 9lb or higher. I'd recommend buying a 9lb 10lb 11lb, and 12lb Wolff spring and testing them out to see which you like the most in terms of feel. The grip is a PT EVO. It actually went on with no modification, but there was too much tension at the top of the grip. Little bit of fitting to the top of the grip, and the whole area above the trigger. Not too bad, but it was my first time doing it so I really took my time.

Running a cut down Wolff 10lb w/ factory guide rod on a project Staccato i'm working on. Also running a Wilson shock-buff. Felt better with the 10lb than the 9lb, but it's all subjective. I don't see why you would want to change the guide rod itself.

A couple years ago I had 2 CK Arms Hardcore limited guns. I also had a STI DVC Limited. The STI is a good gun, but between the two, CK Arms is an easy choice. Fit and finish, better trigger/ignition components, plus the steel grip made it an overall better gun to shoot. Welcome for the forums. If you want to run a larger magwell, you will have to upgrade to a Gen 1 STI grip (w/ mainspring housing and magazine catch). As of today, I don't know of any companies making large magwells for the Gen 2 (Staccato) grips.

They are no longer using PT grips. In fact, I tried to order a custom gun with a PT grip, and they said they literally only had one in-house, and would not be ordering more. Based off what i've seen them producing, its all Cheely grips. For me, the question is if the frame is Cheely as well. It's unfortunate, because I really liked the shape/feel of the PT Evo.

Plan was to add a Cheely E2 Agressive steel grip to an Atlas Hyperion. I understand why Atlas chose the aluminum grip, just not a big fan of the feel. I emailed Cheely to see if Atlas is using their frames on the Hyperion. Figured it would be relatively easy to fit the Cheely E2 Steel grip if the frame is Cheely as well. Any ideas? Haven't heard back from Cheely on the matter.

Thanks, I saw that video as well. Again, just goes over the basic concepts as people have on these forums. Was hoping for something more tutorial format if its out there.

Does anyone have an in depth tutorial on fitting a metal 2011 grip to a frame? I understand the basic concepts, and have read what was available on this forum, but I haven't found a full on tutorial (tools, process, photos, etc). Thanks!
