  1. you guys should try the only load listed by hodgdon with titewad in 9mm. 124 berrys with titewad powder. that load shoots like rimfire and its 1050 fps in the carbine. plus ita cheap and cleaner than titegroup
  2. im switching back to 200s after 10 or so years of shooting 180s. my pistol is very light compared to most. i am currently using 200 jhp over titegroup in a 6 inch glock. it will soon switch to 200 plated or coated when these are gone.
  3. I like the 230 grain bullet in the 45 better than the lighter pills because it seems to produce a more predictable recoil impulse in my guns with me shooting them. Some swear the SWC is more accurate but in this game it is just not that big of a difference. 230 cast coated lead bullet 4.0 grains Winchester Super Target at 1.25" oal for 800 fps 230 jacketed or plated over 4.0 grains clays at 1.25 oal for 795 fps Storm lake barreled glock 21 4.6 inches long the super target load is just sweet...and super accurate. Clays is immeasurably cleaner than any other load out there.
  4. I am a fan of WST for the 45 with plain cast lead bullets. 4.0 grains of clays for plated or jacketed 230 grain bullets. Titegroup for full power 185 JHP bullets.
  5. try winchester super field...its about the closest thing to WWB as youll get. Titegroup or Win 231 better suits me and gets the velocity i need out of my guns.
  6. pm sent rodney, thanks again
  7. I am looking for a new/used c-more railway mount. i just need the mount not the whole sight. i have looked at the usual suspects and have only found weaver type mounts for the sts sight. i would gladly buy one off a member if they had an extra one to get rid of. Harmon
  8. ream the chamber's throat. the problem will go away
  9. i think they used true blue 40 loads to sink the bismark...you gunning for 200 pf?

been tinkering with loads for mine. i think the load im gonna be using for a while is 140 grain hard cast bullet over 7.8 grains of IMR 4756 at 1.130 OAL lit off by a federal 200 primer in mixed( mostly winchester) range brass. i had been shooting a lot of 175-180 grain bullets over near 8.0 grains of AA7 for an unknown power factor. these 140's are a lot snappier and the gun tracks like an open gun should.. it is also very loud.
  11. .451 for jacketed. either .451 or .452 lead (cast or swaged). .452 will shoot better but may not always chamber in tight chambered pistols
  12. the comp doesnt pull anything while the barrel still has pressure in it. the gun is still locked up and it is the case pushing on the slide. 55000 PSI cracks slides.
  13. what are the specs for the hole spacing and bolt diameters for the c-more slide ride?
  14. you need an ejector but other than that you are good to go. there is no worries with beating the gun up. they are the same frame as the 23..
