Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Awesome gun. I have to go test fire mine tomorrow. Are out having any ejection problems. My has had problems since I put the mount on. Finally bit the bullet and moved the dot forward. Hope it helps. Also I will be PMing you about that bevertail.
  2. Haha those responses are great. Anyway it's a cheater bar to pick up poppers. Saves your back from bending and your gut from your mags.
  3. I've been having the same problem. Now I know what too look for and what to try.
  4. I have run a stag 3G for about 4 years now. Had the barrel, forearm, and trigger I wanted. Put some glass and a comp on it right off the bat. Over time I switched stocks, added 45 irons (on the cheep), and played with different grips and charging handles. Not much to change now unless I upgrade glass. My opinion is get something serviceable that works well and go from there. You can always upgrade/replace later. And either sell your replaced parts or put them in a box until you decide to build another gun.
  5. 20-25yds. Know your holds and practice like crazy.

    Glock Mags

Run the Dawsons. You take them off and put them on a few times and they will wear the mag in right where they want to be.
  7. I have 2. One in my open Glock and one in my limited. The fit and finish was fantastic and running all the right springs it's a really clean trigger. The only gripe I have is adjustability. I would love an adjustable flat faced trigger.
  8. So I'm looking for a holster that with fit clean, or with little modification, a Glock 22 with a Carver C-More mount. This holster will also be for my Glock 35, limited gun. The problem is with most holsters (CR Speed, Ghost, DAA) it looks like with the mount it won't fit in the holster because the mount protrudes from under the frame just a little too much. Any help, advice, ideas, or pictures of mods would be greatly appreciated. -Corey
  9. Posted this in the open pistol forum too but Ithought this would be a good place too. Does anyone in this wild world of awesomeness know or have some sort of template/blueprint for a glock RMR cut. I've got the overall measurements for the dot itself but i do not have the the bolt hole info. Any kind of data would be awesome. Thanks Corey

  11. So I contacted troy about what gas blocks will fit under my alpha rail and this is the response I got: "We apologize for the delay in getting back to you. A Clamp on gas block will not work under the Alpha rail. Any low profile gas block will work. We offer one that will work under our Alpha rails. Please let me know if you need any additional information." So while I don't think that's completely accurate I'm still curious to hear what others are running under their alpha rails. Is anyone using a carbon arms gas block under a troy alpha rail? Does anyone think there would be an issue with the carbon arms block?
  12. A 45 degree optic in open is a must. Come to think of it I have a red, warne 45 degree mount sitting in my spare parts box. Pm me if you're interested
  13. Butterpuc, Is that the Yankee hill "clamp on"? And do you have anything mounted to your alpha rail? Specifically at the 6 o'clock about 5 holes back? I have my grip direct mounted and I want to make sure the hardware is safe too
  14. Ok so I'm trying to find a good solid clamp on gas block to fit under my 13" troy alpha rail. From what I have read most clamp on style gas blocks are too big to fit under the alpha rail, and if they do fit they may touch or bump the gas block leading to accuracy issues. This is going on to a 14.5" gun with a mid length gas system. So I'm reaching out for y'all's wisdom. Is there a clamp on gas block out there that will fit? Am I wanting too much in a clamp on gas block? Should I be looking at a set screw style block?
  15. +1 on that round count. I'm not flying but ammo ain't cheep! Looking forward to seeing you in dec Pat.
