Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Posting this in case some people are not aware, but MK7 has released an update to the APEX 10 priming system. The original design would allow the bearing to move in the event the alignment pin crashed into the primer disc. This would cause things to get out of alignment and binding (see Step 4 in the linked document). The new disc has additional clearance under the disc to deal with debris and prevent binding in case of a crash. I have the new disc installed and realigned the bearing according to the document and it is working 100% better. I have been processing more than loading, but it has processed about 5k without binding and loaded about 2k of 9mm with no smashed primers. There is some adjusting to do, but this has solved the issues I was having. https://www.markvii-loading.com/amfile/file/download/file/32/product/1859/
  2. Having an issue with the primer disc assy on my Apex10 with autodrive. It seems to be binding up and won't rotate if its pulled on with the rod underneath. The disc/cam unit seems to have a lot of play in the roller bearing that supports it. I've taken the unit off the machine and the disc will rotate freely in the bearing, but once I put the silver arm back on and operate it by hand it binds up again. Is there a way to get a replacement unit from Mark7? Its basically a new press and I've only managed to load about 5000 rounds on it since new with all the issues. FYI I've been reloading on an 1050 for 20ish years, so I'm not new to reloading. Thanks
  3. So inner/outer velcro belts (i.e. Safariland) are GTG in Traditional class?
  4. I'm still running the super secret 24" factory team Benelli M2 from my factory team days
  5. PM me for $100 discount on Westone DefendEars
  6. But... Prismatic... #LEUPOLD4LIFE
  7. The press is set up for .223 from Dillon. The primers that fall out are perfect, not crushed or deformed and I end up reusing them. Last time this happened, it appears the primers get snagged on something and don't quite make it into the transfer bar then get pushed out the bottom.
  8. I'm having the same problem. Primers don't feed and they end up getting kicked out under the press onto the bench. This is a brand new press. I've replaced the plastic feed lips on the primer feed tube a few times already, but it still happens. Just today, I had 12 primers out of 100 fail to feed and get kicked out on to the bench. Using Winchester Small Rifle primers and have a weight on my follower.
  9. Stock mount and some epoxy works fine on mine.
  10. Take a look at Black Rain Ordnance rifles too
  11. Do you have a link to the $650/pr electronic customs?
  12. I have some primed 223 brass that I need to neck size before I can load it. I'm looking for a good neck size die, but not sure what to get. I don't think I want or need bushing die. I was looking at the Redding Series A die, does anybody have any experience with this die? Can I remove the decapper rod? Do I need to lube the cases so I don't stick a case in it? Any other tips/tricks? Thanks
  13. I think the winner of this years MG Nats used a prismatic in Limited
