Makes sense but this is why I am now very cautious about touching anything after reloading or shooting then I always keep flying stuff away from shooting stuff. Haven't had a problem since.
the new test must be much better than when they first started swabbing bags after 9/11. I flew from Pittsburgh to Denver for a snowboard trip and was pulled out cause my bag flagged residue and they wanted me there when they went thru it. this was my snowboard bag that could only have hand transfer in it as I never put guns in it or near it.
I would suggest checking out a local teacher. they can help you get started and also will have access to different guns to try out and see which fits right or is at least close. personally I shoot a custom stocked Beretta 682 over under and my little girl is wanting a custom stocked Beretta A400 in 20 gauge.
Your a lucky man if she can be trusted to fill primer tubes, my ex took the primers out of box and flipped them all opposite from how they where packaged and picked them up. didn't matter which side was up.
+1 also. Either will treat you right. My Cheely 40 Hybrid is a hell of a lot more accurate than i am and it has run like a scalded dog since the day i picked it up
