Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just look at the target. Bring the sights to what you are seeing. Exception, if in an odd position, can not see a target, unsure about drawing from that angle.....that type of thing.
  2. I have tried it with and without a fiber. Found it was much faster with the green fiber. Just easier to track the sight. On my 2nd shot on a target, seeing the fiber drop back into the notch is much easier with a fiber.
  3. Have a lot of friends who Burn it down after a night of drinking. Most that take a break, seem to shoot like they took a break.
  4. TTI. Like them. Switched from Dawson.
  5. Local guy gave me a deal on ceracote. Holding up really well.
  6. I used the chapstick method. Eventually the dot on my glasses got really small. Now I do not use at all.
  7. I start with 12 yard 2 inch circles. Once that is good, take it to 25 yard head shots on USPSA targets. No bench.
  8. My primary is a 5.4. Backup is a 5. Trigger, sites, grip, safety all set up the same. No problem switching from one to the other.
  9. Used to have pain in the elbow as well. Signed up at a Rock Climbing gym. The workout cleaned up the pain in my elbow. Plus helped with grip strength.
  10. My Bullseye shooting has definitely suffered. But I enjoy an USPSA match much more than a bullseye match. So all good.
  11. My friend does it. Walks thru the house in the walk-thru. Runs around it during the stage......
  12. My dominant eye has a 1.5. Clear in the other. Works great to shoot, but do not try to drive with those things on............................
