Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Contact Dillon, you can send it to them and they will refurbish it. You'll think it's a brand new machine when you get it back!
  2. Somebody want to make some extra money off the ammo shortage evidently and a uninformed buyers. They look like standard dies to me.
  3. I'd guess somewhere around 80-90% of the total new cost for the setup as is to the right buyer.
  4. Well if you send it back, when it returns you'll swear it's a new machine!
  5. I run 2 650's one for small and one for large primers. I swap one case feeder between the two 650's. I have a 550 set up for small batches of rifle ammo.
  6. Just call Dillon they’ll mail you a replacement just let them know the part number.
  7. MISSOURI BULLET COMPANY. http://www.missouribullet.com/# I use them for 9mm and .45ACP
  8. I load both ways on my 650’s. They are on strong mounts. I use an adjustable chair when sitting just adjust up to where it feels right.
  9. Why not just ask Dillon? May not be as much as you think. A couple of years back I sent a 550 in. It essentially came back a new machine well worth the cost.
  10. Time for a second 550 then you have one for each primer size!
  11. I use a 550 for low volume loading. I have 2 650’s one for small primers and one for large primers. They are set for 38 special and .45 auto. All the other low volume loading is on the 550. I haven’t had any issues switching between the 2 styles of presses.
  12. Great press I have 2 650's one for large primers and one for small primers. I shift one case feeder to the press in use at the time so far that's working well. Although I've considered ordering a second case feeder just haven't decided to spend the money to avoid changing from press to press. You'll love it I can usually load 500 rounds in about 35 minutes with 5 primer tubes filled before I start.
  13. And read through this complete page. http://brianenos.com/pages/dillon#650
  14. Some ideas from Brian Enos who had great ideas on what you would need for your Dillon press. You need: reloading dies for your choice of caliber Carbide for pistol calibers lube not needed but it make loading easier. Standard or Carbide if available for your rifle caliber. Must use lube for all rifle calibers. powder scale bullet puller case tumbler/vibrator to clean your fired brass cleaning media for the case cleaner case lube Primer tray to flip primers good reloading manuals Hornady, Speer, Lyman, Sierra or bullet maker specific loading manuals. bullets for reloading primers powder This is in the FAQ from Brian Enos old store site. Prices are now somewhat higher Although not technically a "drawback," the case feeder for the 650 is optional, meaning add another 180 bucks to the base price of the machine. (Don’t even think of buying a 650 without the casefeeder.) 650 Height Dimensions (w/Casefeeder): With Casefeeder (and no Strong Mount): 38.5" With Casefeeder and 650 Only Strong Mount: 45" (650 Only Strong Mount raises machine 6.5") RFP: (Recommended First Purchase) $566.95 – Base Price $63.95 – Dies (sold separately) $218.95 – Casefeeder $42.95 – Roller Handle, Aluminum $44.95 – Strong Mount, (650 only) $40.95 – Bullet Tray $978.70 – RFP Total Additional options available: $68.95 – Powder Check System $41.95 – Low Powder Sensor (redundant with Powder Check System) NCC: (Nice Caliber Conversion) $77.95 – Caliber Conversion Kit $63.95 – Dies $107.95 – Deluxe Quick-Change Kit (Includes Toolhead, Powder Measure, Powder Die, and Toolhead Stand.) $249.85 – NCC Total
