Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I have a strike industries mag catch that drops the mag randomly between 1-4 rounds in my parts bin. It’s way ahead of that empty mag design.
  2. Are you letting the ammo heat up in the chamber? Significant temp changes of your ammo can have a significant effect on it’s performance. A hot chamber will provide the temp change.
  3. Check out the new h-series gloss black if you aren't into non-traditional looking guns.
  4. That looks like a lot of fitting or very expensive machines to assemble into anything accurate. They will probably bring the price up once the get them out to show what we hope they can do. It would be cool if they could get it lighter.
  5. I am understanding tha Mr. Marvel is now working with Nelson custom guns. There was allegedly some very ugly business moves by the company that you are trying to communicate with, including pushing Mr.Marvel out. You'll have to google all that. Also, alot of folks like these are at camp Perry this past few weeks. If you want a slide built by Mr. Marvel, you need to call Nelson, they may be able to help fix your existing slide too. good luck
  6. Remington 700 on the TR gun Bernard on the open gun Love the Elesio on a bipod or sling Don't like it on a rest w/ the plate on the bottom, feels too high
  7. That looks good. What color did you use? How close did the color match what you were expecting?
  8. My 550 has been giving me the same problems. I will check the holes to see if I did the same damage. All of my polishing and cleaning sure isn't fixing it. Thanks for advise Tires2burn.
  9. I travel a lot and like to have a magazine w/ me. Recoil magazine has been my go to gun related lately. They have guns, girls and cars. A lot of tactical like stuff, but everybody who didn't get a shot at being Rambo has to get it out of his system somehow. I know at my shop, if it's not at Brownell's, it's not likely to be on the bench. It's in my guns though. Seems like I saw it in the Dillon mailer this week..?
  10. I have'nt seen a lot of great info in one place either. I've been doing it now for about 6-7 months and figured a lot of stuff out on my own. I didn't go to the school in WA, just winged it. Took a while to figure a lot of things out. Found a fair amount of info on snipershide. there's a few guys there who do it full time and share some good info. Calling Cerakote is something that you hear alot and they are pretty helpfull sometimes. Happy to answer what questions I can
  11. Thanks It was originally sent out for hydrodip in realtree or something like that. The guy waited a very long time and got frustrated, so it was sent to me. It was intimidating knowing it would be measured against hydrodip camo, but the guy was happy w/ it.
  12. I just finished this up for a duck hunter. 6 colors H-series and microslick all internals. Didn't really know where I was going w/ it, but somehow pulled it out. Brand new Beretta that had never been shot.
  13. My little ultra carry. Was the 3rd or 4th gun that I painted.
  14. If I started seeing that I would take a look in my chamber
