Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. 21 June 2020

    Hi RangerTrace!
Would you know what kind of shotgun belt Keith Garcia is using? Is it a modified Weightlifter's belt fitted with 068 shotshell holders? I saw it on the TarnTactical youtube.  thanks in advance.  Lino

  2. I think superfly mark Otto's mail has been hacked.
  3. ...and i was just struggling with loading two at a time... i must be ten years behind.
  4. Hi Mark! Do you mean grab six on one load?...that's a big WOW!
  5. i am still waiting for my otto vest (since january). Mark must have been backlogged.
  6. Kudos to you, Dad... and i'm sure your son will be a stronger and better shooter with this experience.
  7. Does the #8 birdshot 1 1/8 oz. fit the job for pepper poppers, too? i was using these before but got inconsistent results with it so i shifted to #4 birdshot mainly and #6 occasionally...or maybe the PP were not really set well?
  8. Kurt and this great guy from the UK was kind enough to send me his video clips on weak hand reloading. I was able to "digest" and learn from Kurt's weakhand reloading and that's what i mainly do. I'm not tall and my hands are not big and can grab only 3 rounds at a time but i consider myself fast and happy with it. It's now posted in one of the threads here. Thanks again Kurt. BTW Kurt, when are you coming out with your DVD? I've been eagerly waiting for that one for a few years now? lino
  9. Maligayang Bati sa Iyong Kaarawan, Brian. Thank you for keeping this forum up. It surely has helped a lot of people worldwide. If by chance you come across the folks at PACT, could you kindly thank them for me. They sent back the PACT timer I sent to them for repairs (I bought it many, many moons ago) and they did not charge me a single cent.
  10. same here as kimel. I was introduced to it through Brian's forum by Mike Hughes. I followed up my questions to him and Kurt Miller as I went along. I am happy grabbing 3 at a time using Choate shotshell holders. Good skills to you Blockhead.
  11. Is Matt's video on shotguns out in the market yet? Lino
  12. I'm curious, how old is the Blue Dot you have? Is it Alliant Blue Dot or Hercules Blue Dot? If it's from some time ago, it may have a different burn rate than the currently manufactured stuff. Hercules had some kind of plant explosion in the late 80's early 90's, and after that, the formulation changed. Vince <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I double checked the label. you're right vince, it was Hercules Blue Dot. Is the burn rate much different with the new formula? Thanks Ray for the lead-on. I'm still considering whether to load 1 1/4 oz rounds - specially when you said the muzzle flash is quite a show. lino
  13. I've read in the handgun Forum about the front sight dictating transition cadence. Does this hold true with shotguns? I shoot with both eyes open looking at the target instead of the front sight. What are your techniques to "speed up" your transitions from one target to the next? Thanks. Lino
  14. Does anybody out there have a recommendation for a load data of the above powder? I plan to use it for 1 1/8 oz of #4 lead shots on Winchester AA Hulls with WinAA 12 wads and Win 209primers. I still have 2 lbs of the powder and would like to try it for IPSC shooting. Thanks in advance. Lino
