Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I reloaded and have several months, then keep it current as I shoot. So I reloaded several thousand, and now only a couple hundred after i go to the range.
  2. I have been using HP38 / Win231 for several years. I know of NO temperature sensitivity. BUT there have been letters published (reportedly from Hogdon) that HP-38 / Win231 is being dropped from production in the next few years. I have seen the letters, but I have no idea how accurate / reliable these stories are. I continue to use this powder. Best wishes.
  3. Does anyone know when we might see that powder in the stores? I've been missing it for more than 9 months.
  4. Sorry about that - Xtr 100gr RNFP. I also use 3.2 gr for MG 95 gr JHP at COAL 0.95. Wish i could find some (a lot) of HP 38!
  5. HP38 3.3 gr 0.95 COAL Winchester SP mixed range brass Problem currently is I can't find HP38 / WIN 231 powder, anymore!
  6. Hell, it's a Dillon, Just call them and ask for the pins you need.
  7. Following this. I am also VERY interested in HP38 powder!
  8. Not sure what you are asking, as .95 is SLIGHTLY shorter than .984. And Yes, I am sure of my OAL. Not sure what salami has to do with it? Unless you mean SAAMI. probably. OK.
  9. I use a 550. I have MG 95gr JHP, and HP38/Win231. I load 3.0gr at .95 OAL. This doesn't exactly answer your question, but hope it helps. I'm also loading for a G42. Best Wishes!
  10. I've not been able to see / get any HP38 / Win 231 for a couple of years. Now I need some. Hope your comments (ref maybe this spring!) are correct.
  11. ES13RavenIf I may assume you are using a 550, I had that problem, and it was because the shell plate needed to be tightened. You need to be careful, as you can tighten it so far, as to be unable to rotate it, so be careful! Best wishes.
  12. I've used those a couple times, but never bought them. I just sort the (up to) several hundred cases immediately after my range time. And I just go thru them by hand. It takes maybe 15-30 minutes. Hope that helps.
  13. ES13Raven I also use crushed walnut. I usually run several thousand 9MM or 40S&W brass thru it, in several different loads. Usually about 500-1000 pieces of brass at a time. The crushed walnut may last 3-5 times. When it is discolored (based on looking at new crushed walnut), I toss it. I use new dryer sheets, as I don't use them in a dryer at all. I throw them away when they have picked up a lot of dust! usually about as long as the crushed walnut lasts. And I don't use any additive, but I also don't care about shiny brass, just clean! Hope this helps!
  14. surgdogI just recently bought an RT1200 from Brian Enos (Dillon), and it had the blade present in the body. I would guess that yours does also. Best wishes.
  15. Yes this correct # = lbs Good luck
