Never had an issue with mine in over 25 years of storing in the garage both loaded ammo and components. We have big temperature swings here too.

I usually average 10 rounds to figure my OAL. If you try and check everyone you just chase your tail.

Same here. I have one that is red inside for my P320 and by the end of the match I have a red racing stripe on the top right edge of my slide. Doesn’t hurt the finish of the gun from what I’ve seen but it is strange looking.

The best way is with a sight pusher such as the MGW Sight Pro. But that’s a lot of money to spend for one sight. You should be able to drive it off with a hammer and brass punch. If you need to, get a bigger hammer.

I’m nearing 5000 on mine without any issues, clean or dirty running the 12 lb spring and an optic. I do have a new spring on hand should I have any malfunctions.

Not sure about yours since you have an actual indicator on the M17. Most of us have been complaining about the Legion having an open hole in the top of the chamber where you could see a case in the chamber. With my DPP equipped X-Compact Im not seeing the problem I had with the Legion. I believe the X-Compact has the same type of LCI as your M17. Give Sig a call and see what they say.

I’ve used both, prefer N320 in every way but price. I agree with promtcy comments above plus I think I get less smoke from N320 with coated bullets as well. I have plenty of Sport Pistol and N320 to last me a while. Maybe there will be some other magical powder available when this runs out.

DPP now but may look at the R1P down the road if they prove to be reliable.

Might have something to with how many units that are in the wild. It is one of the most popular optics in action sports. I’m guessing not all of them fail at the same time so it may be years before all of them are replaced. I lost the latch that held the battery door closed on one of my units. They repaired it free of charge and while in the shop they replaced the circuit board. I wasn’t having any issues with it but they changed it out while they had it. I have a second unit that has the newer board in it and it’s running fine with matches every weekend not counting practice. I might look at the Romeo 1 Pro or SRO down the road once they get more popular and more time in the field to see how they hold up but as of right now I’m happy with my DPPs.

The only people that are having issues with the LCI are those of us that shoot CO. Sig has been replacing them whenever they receive a complaint even from those who have never put an optic or intend to put an optic on their pistol. There was a comment about someone running a Romeo 1 Pro on the X5 Legion without issues. So from Sig’s point of view they probably don’t see it as a problem that needs immediate attention.
