We just completed a reprogram of our front sights so that we could decrease production cost with the goal being to NOT raise the price on any of our front sights. Now that that is successfully completed, XDm magwells and basepads are at the very top of our list. -Chet

For a .45 No-Gap setup we really like the Wilson Legendary 47D magazines with Dawson Precision No-Gap basepads in black or silver. -Chet

Yes, that is correct. Yes, some people find it faster as it eliminates the possibility of the magazine snagging on the front of the gun's frame during a reload. Yes, those will both work with the Gap insert. That's right, the only difference between the Gap and No-Gap version of our magwell is the replaceable insert. -Chet

Yes, we make them in four different heights in order to fit the box depending on how tall your sights are. In addition, they're all under 1 oz. so as to comply with the IDPA rules. -Chet

Hi John, They come off like any other baseplate, just depress the retainer pin and slide it off. The EZ-Off Baseplates for Glock use a unique design to allow the baseplates to be removed much more easily than the factory plates. It really makes a huge difference. I hope this helps, -Chet

I need to clarify something: None of our Dawson Precision CRP guns have any internal modifications or trigger work done. The only pistol we currently offer that service on is the Dawson Precision Super-Tuned STI Edge. -Chet
