  1. Yessir. Rule Book Apendix 7 Line 21.3 https://uspsa.org/viewer/USPSA-Competition-Rules.pdf
  2. I generally zero at 15 yards Then do a walk back drill from there, and walk in from 15... ( walk back drill is every 2-3 steps fire a shot) so 15 yards 18 yards 21 yards 25 yards 28, 31, 34, etc. Ooh, and if running two different bullet weights, I do that with each one. 15 is super easy to confirm a zero with 1-3 shots after flying or driving a long way to a match.
  3. Actually it's one of the easiest to shoot! Red Dot makes it easier to aim, 21 rounds = less reloading Minor power factor is less recoil.. ooh yeah, and it has the most competitors in it now! I'm not sure what the wave technique is... but using the pointed thumb as an index point is a very tried and true technique for ergonomic aiming with a handgun, much like pointing the finger with a shotgun or carbine.
  4. I generally push for speed in training and go for alphas as quickly as I can grab them in a match!
  5. I know I'm late to the party on this, I hope I still get to see you on the range some time , you have a huge amount of knowledge and have put in the work for decades. I always enjoyed working with/for you.... insert chicken... it's made of rubber like the tars on yer car!
  6. It is a beautiful range I greatly enjoyed Shooting it.
  7. The folks above are right. it's almost 2.5 hours from the main body of WV. and we are the outlier for Area 5 so the two clubs there are area 8 clubs. they are best serviced by the VA/MD section
  8. I just got one of the PDI's that thing is bad ass, easily the best trigger of their lineup I have shot ( and i have used all of them over the years) .
  9. Hi Sean, Welcome to the forum. Lot of great shooting in south west PA East Huntingdon Practical Shooters, Clairton and IDPA in morgantown, WV I'm from the middle of WV myself.
  10. Welcome! Canik is making some awesome guns for the money!
  11. Dawn is pretty much all i used, occasionally I'll use lemishine if i want to get rid of all of the tarnish, but very sparingly, Plan to go to SS media in the very near future.
  12. Get some classifiers on the books for PCC... Make GM in Carry Optics and get my mojo back! Also to cut some seconds on my steel challenge times.
  13. We have never had a classifier match before. ( We are a new club) I do like can you Count... I was looking at running 5 or 6 that wa everyone can make a mistake. .... I was there when max michelle shot the high hit factor on can you count ( on his squad at area 6 in fact).... that one used to be a ball buster on percentage though. he and travis SMOKED it.
  14. I know we have had a lot of new classifiers, My club, is fixing to run a 4 or More classifier match. Which classifiers do you feel are best, I have a number of PCC shooters and a group of 3 gun guys who have never shot classifiers much in the past. I ask you 3 things. Easiest? Most fun? Definitely Shouldn't run. Please don't ask me to use the search function. I have.
