Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I have been shooting PCC for a couple of years now first with Ruger and then with GMR 15 both of which I like. But I shoot left handed and both guns for various reasons are not totally conducive to the left handed. I see that Davinci has a left handed model which interests me but is it enough to drop that amount of money for the ability to have the gun that is made for my lefty deviant type of shooting. Any one with experience with this firearm who could give feedback? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Is anyone using the Tek Lok attachment on the DAA Lynx. Did a lot of searching and even with the company get mixed messages. Have the Tek-Lok on most of my belts but not with this one. So from the horses mouth - anyone have it on and using? Have the order ready to go but don’t want to get something that I cannot use. Thanks

Thanks Sorry for the double - must have hit the submit more than once. -
  4. Just google USPSA stages or if you are more visual most of the classifiers are on YouTube - USPSA also has the classifiers there as well. All pretty easy to find and duplicate. Also many stages on Pintrest on one site. Seek and ye shall find
  5. And one more for Springer - sets it back further, they provide all the right hardware and it just works. Think there is even a YouTube vid on this showing the difference.
  6. Thinking of getting the tungsten guide rod for my Legion - currently have the 12 pound spring in there but not sure with this heavier guide rod if that will be the best. Any input from those that have made this trip about your experience. Thanks
  7. Probably too early for any reviews but wonder how it runs - sticking with my GMR though I wish they had gone with Glock mags to have it be one less thing to carry for a backup. Don't know if there are extensions with the Colt mags either.
  8. Think I know the answer to this but want to go to the experts. I know the USPSA rule on magwell in CO - have been shooting it since it began. Just got the Sig today and this is the first Sig I have owned shooting primarily XDM in the past. Like I say I know the rule but in looking at some match videos I see some shooting with it on. A friend who is a M level shooter says that if it comes that way from the factory it is ok. So, help me out here as I have no desire to get moved to open. Can take it off no problem but it also then takes away from the look of the gun along with reloading issues. Thanks for the help and the understanding.
  9. I started out on this Ruger gun for PCC before getting my GMR 15 - heavier and no left hand shooter option on safety which being a left hand PCC shooter caused me problems from time to time. Otherwise is a great gun and my experience positive. In fact a couple of our best PCC shooters in my club uses the Ruger with very good results. Another plus it seems to use pretty much any mags where the GMR will only work with factory Glock. Learned that the hard way when I first got the GMR. So, good gun, good price and good performance with a lot of upgrades you can do. From my experience you can't go wrong on this gun. Have fun this is a fun division to shoot and as a "super senior" of 75 years young has been helpful with staying in the game.
  10. The one that I have will only work with factory Glock - not a problem other than a couple times on extraction but otherwise fine. I put in something else and it will fail in three or so. So, eat the cost, pay for the quality and have your gun work in matches
  11. Well thanks for all the help and/or suggestions from the base of wisdom. Last night 5 stage match, only with factory mags and not a problem at all. Did not try my ETS mags but will give that a range test this weekend. Two more factory 33 glocks in this weekend and I will have enough for now. Thanks again - that's why this forum is such a great asset. Battle hardened shooters.
  12. Thank you all for the input - benefit from the collective input from those with more experience and knowledge than me. One more question, how about extensions on the factory glock mags - is that ok or same feed issue? Thanks
  13. I recently purchased a JP GMR-15 and love the gun - when it shoots. I am on the second one with the first not making it past two shots before the bullpen ended up vertical and pushed into the case. I was shooting Blazer 124 Brass which worked fine with any of my other guns. Took it back and then gave me another gun - that works well with the Glock factory mags but the SGM mags for example experience the same problem usually after two or three shots. When I use the factory Glock mags it seems to work. So, is this normal for this gun and it is just this fussy? Have not tried any other types but with different ammo - Federal 115, Remington etc plus the Blazer I get the same issue. Again short a seven stage match on Saturday and lost a ton of time on a stage with one of those mags - went to the Glock factory and seemed to work. Again, is this normal for this particular gun? I like it and it shot well for me other than the feed issue. Any thought and/or suggestions. With what I invested I should would like to have it work.
