Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just saw that. I haven't worked with ADB, but there's a first time for everything.
  2. Similar to what I had in mind with adapter. Just not sure if the native locked-down OS will support OTG.
  3. That's true, but there are advantages to the Nook that have been discussed in other threads. Don't really want to rehash that here - just looking for info on making the new option work.
  4. Haven't worked with an MDM before. You have a favorite that you think might do the job? Preferably free
  5. Looks like these would be great for scoring - waterproof and dust proof with a capacitive screen instead of IR. Unfortunately, B&N once again left out the SD card slot, so rooting is not user-friendly. Would be great if someone could do an equivalent of Root n Scote It for this one. Any chance it might be possible to boot from an SD card using an adapter for the microUSB port?
  6. We started using PS this season for weekly matches. While we are absolutely thrilled with how well it works, I am noticing a few issues with each match. Relevant to this discussion is the fact that DQ'd shooters were not indicated as such when the match was imported to EZWS. The strange part was that when I DQ'd them in EZWS, one of them disappeared from the results entirely - the total number of competitors listed in the results was reduced by 1. I had to un-DQ the shooter and re-DQ, then all was well. Maybe this is more of an EZWS issue, but I figured I should share.
  7. Yes - he meant PractiScore I'm the guy that set it all up, and I can't believe how smoothly it went. I expected to have a ton of issues and honestly didn't think I'd get to shoot much of the match. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The Nooks worked beautifully and the software performed exactly as advertised. Such an experience with new technology is rare. A HUGE thanks to the PractiScore guys - very well done!
  8. The Tripp mags have been perfect in my DW PM7-40.
  9. The price of the LNL made it a no-brainer over the 550 and 650 when I was shopping. I loaded thousands without a case feeder with no real issues and have now loaded a few thousand with the case feeder. I've also had fantastic luck with Hornady's customer service. They've provided parts at no cost on two occasions when I was fully prepared to pay, and I know others who have had the same experience. I would highly recommend getting your hands on each of the presses you're interested in and giving them a test drive.
  10. The Kimber mags work perfectly in mine. If you have a S&A magwell, you'll have to do a little file work on the basepads, but nothing major. They're also very light, so getting them to drop free can be a little tough...but the price is right relative to other .22 conversion mags.
  11. That definitely doesn't sound right. I've never had to use that much force. As for the die, I've had great luck with the Lee resizing die and the FCD. I'm told that the Lee sizes further down the case wall than other manufacturers, though it's the only die I've used so I can't speak to that from experience. I can tell you that I no longer chamber check 9mm and have had zero issues in thousands of rounds. Take that for what it's worth.
  12. I've also shot around 10k with no issue and use them interchangeably with CCI
  13. You can also use the "Print Screen" key to capture an image of the score sheet to the clipboard, then paste it into Word/Powerpoint/Windows-Program-of-Choice. Screen capture software like HyperSnap works great, also.
  14. +1 to Elizabeth's comment, according to my HS Latin teacher as well...though I only made it through 2 years
  15. Does it matter how a competitor registers? As far as EZWS is concerned, classifications are provided in a file from USPSA that is updated monthly. Is it acceptable for the scorer to override the file with the "registered" class?
