Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Thanks!! Those were my thoughts also. Though if I or anyone didn't see a safezone infraction there is really no rule covering action regarding what might be stated by the competitor, is there? So in effect they could take it to arbitration, correct? Some people just need a good review of safe gun handling. The first thing you do is check the chamber, shees.
  2. My buddy blue edge has a vent in the 'what I like' forum covering this situtation. I'm looking for some clarification. The shooter comes to the line. At the LAMR command the slide is operated and a jam occures because there is a snap cap in the chamber. Is this a dq? I couldn't find a rule that covers this specific situtation so I'm answering no. But I of course what the input of others. As I've certainly been known to be wrong! TIA,
  3. Thanks to all that participated. I was your CRO on "Lee's Legacy". Hope to see you next year! Here is the link: http://www.practicalshooters.com/silvercreek.htm
  4. I'll be CRO'ing a stage too. Though I'm not sure which one, yet. I'll email this topic to those in charge and I'll post any new info as I get it. Thanks,
  5. I'm search for an easy to use basic stage and scoresheet design program. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price, less than $30 to me is reasonable. I don't have power point or anything like it other than the basic 'Works'. Can you help me out? TIA
  6. Hey Flex, Yea a 'relay' is what we call them when we shoot the same match more than once. And you are correct about the order. I don't think we're publishing the one's we are shooting. You going to make it? BTW, for some reason I'm not receiving email notices of replies. Joe

  8. Edited 12/11/02 Louisville, Kentucky Area. L.P.S.A. will hold a Special Classifier Match and a Rifle Side Match on Saturday the 14th of December, 2002. The Special will have 2 relays and the rifle match will take place after the 2nd relay. There will be 4 Classifiers and an additional pistol stage. Round count for the pistol is around 100 and 24 for the rifle. And don't forget Hidden Hill Practical Shooters will be hosting a match on Sunday the 15th! It will be around 100 rounds also. Match will start at 10:30 am with the 2nd relay and the rifle match being held as soon as the 1st relay is finished (duh ) Cost should be $15 for the first, $5 for the 2nd and $5 for the Rifle Side. Map to Hidden Hills Website has been updated No information is posted at Our website yet so feel free to pm or email me with any questions. Hope to see you there!!! 9. We discussed this in the 'Other' Forum a while back. I stand by my answer. http://www.brianenos.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard...6&topic=156 Joe
  10. Thanks again Mr. Pinto. I agree with the revision. You stated that the new Rulebook was at the IPSC site a while back however when I visited there I couldn't seem to locate it. Joe
  11. Thank you Mr. Pinto. Any advice on what to do in the mean time? Joe
  12. Quote: from Steve Anderson on 2:09 pm on Nov. 20, 2002 I've always wondered what advantage would be gained by dumping hearing protection...this rule implies there is an advantage to be gained...What would that be? SA If you know you've blown the stage half way thru it, deliberately or accidentally losing safety equipment would stop you per 5.4.2 and require a reshoot. Therefore you would be able to reshoot the stage and possible correct what caused you to blow it the first time. So to prevent that there is 5.4.3 and 10.4.4. Joe
  13. We shot this one last Sat. I'm right-handed and chose this order T4, T3, PP2, T5 change mag then PP1, T2 and T1. Here were my results: Joe C Limited10 56 0 10.73 5.2190 I imagine that is a decent 'C' performance. Joe
